Las Vegas (Oct. 24th, 2011)-- On Feb. 26th, 2012, married women from all over the Silver State will come to Las Vegas to compete in the Mrs. Nevada-America Pageant at the Suncoast Hotel & Casino, in the main showroom. Married women, mothers and grandmothers will participate in this spectacular event with one lucky contestant being crowned and moving on to compete in the Mrs. America Pageant later that year.

The Mrs. Nevada-America Pageant headed by its' State Director, Jackie McKenna, a former Mrs. Nevada-America 1990, and her Assistant Director, Brittney Cobb, will produce a “Red Carpet” event that will honor the countless contributions of Nevada's women, their charity work, service in the community and experiences with family.

As a child, every girl dreams of being that Queen, but most will say, “I could never do that. I am too young, too old, too short, too big, too small, too busy, too shy, or too inexperienced, to even be able to enter.” Some believe that there is no way possible to financially afford to participate in a pageant. Here is where we debunk the myths!
It IS possible for any woman to compete, if she wants to challenge herself. Everyone will have their own reason for entering. Every woman will have her own personal goal. Some will say, “I just want to participate to have fun and meet new friends.” Some will want to shed light on an issue that is near and dear to her heart. Some will want to take efforts already established to a new and broader horizon. Some just want to compete and feel like a queen ….period! “Whatever the goal, we are here to direct. That is what we do!
To give each and every woman the experience of a lifetime. To produce a spectacular event and a night everyone will be talking about for years to come. In these tough financial times, no matter what your socio-economic level, we offer a sponsorship program that allows each contestant to seek sponsors in order to cover all of the costs for their participation! It does not have to come “out of pocket.”

Besides the crown and amazing prize package (valued at more than $15,000.00) the winner will receive, each woman who participates in the pageant brings her own special goals to fruition. The state winner goes on to compete in the Mrs. America Pageant (established in 1977 and the crown jewel of pageants for married women) and that winner goes on to the ultimate Mrs. World Pageant, being held this year in Orlando, Florida.

The 2011 state pageant produced Amanda Kouretas, a beautiful wife, stay at home mom of 3 and charity organizer, who is working every week giving back to her community, supporting causes such as, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Autism awareness, Cure for Diabetes and 3Square Food Bank Program.
Our Mrs. Nevada-America works tirelessly to promote her state and all its’ businesses. The cameras are on her and tourism grows wherever she goes because everyone loves a winner, and everyone loves our Mrs. Nevada-America and her court of Nevada Princesses.
